National Maritime Museum: Endeavour

The brief was to conduct audience-focused formative evaluation for four new galleries being developed by the National Maritime Museum, as part of their HLF funded Endeavour project.

I worked in association with project leaders Flow to test barriers to engagement, interest in a range of content – from pirates to climate change, approaches to interpretation and participation, and programming for schools. We consulted a range of existing and potential visitors including families, adults and teachers over two phases through desk research, online and telephone surveys, focus groups and workshops.
