Culture24 is a digital, cultural publishing organisation. Their Let’s Get Real project researches digital change in the sector. A series of collaborative dynamic, action research ‘experiments’ examine ways to connect audiences with collections and stories through digital tools and approaches, with fascinating results.
I am currently mentoring seven organisations through their action research experiments, including the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Public Catalogue Foundation, for this fourth phase of Lets Get Real. Outcomes will help us understand how to:
- Create, package and distribute great digital content that children and young people will find, use and share for learning and enjoyment
- Embed digital making into programming and interpretation to hook children and young people in to collections and stories
- Monitor activity and evaluate success.
The Phase 4 report is due in summer 2016. Until then, take a look at what Phases 1,2, and 3 of Let’s Get Real have revealed: Let’s Get Real
